Sorry about the absence. Moving into the new apartment has taken up all of my time lately. The semester is wrapping up, I’ve been promoted to the night manager at Planet Sub, and we have the kitchen finished! The photos are a little old, we’ve since put up a shelf above the sink to keep our spices and our recipe box.

Kelsey made a delicious mini strawberry pie. I believe she was motivated by my constantly teasing her about buying small ceramic dishes. Turns out they’re useful after all!

A few weeks ago Kelsey bought a number of plants at Heartland Nursery for us to grow. She also bought a topsy turny and a tomato plant but no pictures of that yet.

The future roommates and I found a great apartment next to the Nelson Atkins Museum. The one we previewed has old cabinets and walls with an odd color. Lucky us, our apartment will have newer cabinets,white walls and still have beautiful hard wood floors.
